Welcome to our website, where you can find out more about our friendly social club for English-speaking women of all nationalities.
Many of us have moved to this beautiful corner of France from overseas; others have lived here for much or all of their lives. All enjoy the fun, friendship and opportunities for exploration, learning and socialising the club offers.
We have an active monthly calendar organised by our 80-strong membership, representing 12 different nationalities, offering something for everybody from daytrips to apéros, mah jong to a thriving bookclub. English is the common language of all activities.
What's more, many of our events are open to family and friends, so the club is an ideal way for couples who've moved here to integrate. And we have many French members who just enjoy speaking English and socialising with an international crowd.
Over the years, the ties fostered through the club have been a source of celebration and support as our members go through the inevitable ups and downs of life.
For me personally, since moving to Les Landes from San Francisco, the club has meant great fun, friendship, laughter and exploration. It seems there's never a dull moment!
The club is open to women living full or part-time in Les Landes and the Pays Basque (although most members live within the Moliets-to-Hendaye corridor, and inland to Mont-de Marsan and Peyrehorade) , and is registered as an official association with the French authorities.
I invite you to scroll through the tabs above to discover more. And, should you wish, the application form is under the Join Us tab.
We're looking forward to meeting you.
