The Annual General Meeting and lunch

In late spring every year, we hold our Annual General Meeting and
pot-luck lunch to which every club member is invited. It’s the most important meeting of the year, and is always a festive, fun occasion, giving us the opportunity to put faces to names, be updated on membership and club finances, and to vote on important issues.

As the club is currently registered in Hossegor, the mairie generously grants us a large meeting room free of charge – traditionally either at the grand Sporting Casino or at the convenient salle polyvalente in Soorts – and provides us with tables, chairs and equipment. Add some pretty tablecloths, flowers and a few cases of Champagne and wine, and the stage is set.

Every three years we vote at the AGM for a charity to support. Our current charity is Restos du Cœur, Capbreton.​​​​​
