How it all Started

The Landes and Pays Basque International Women’s Club was founded in 2004 when Nicole David and a small group of women started organising activities for English speaking women living in the south-west
of France.

 

These activities, led by various members, are modified according to the needs and wishes (and expertise) of the membership.

 

One of the Club’s main goals is to welcome and help English speaking people who wish to settle in the Landes and Pays Basque, by assisting them to discover French culture and to integrate into the French way of life.  The Club is passionate about fostering great relationships between women from all round the world.
